Remember Hector Montenegro? He’s in hot water.

Arlington Superintendent Hector Montenegro — DISD’s former deputy superintendent of instructional services (2001-03) — will find out tomorrow night if he will be placed on paid administrative leave by the Arlington school board. Montenegro has been under scrutiny for his expenditures and outside work.

Hector was brought to Dallas back in 2001 by DISD Superintendent Mike Moses. He had an uneventful tenure in DISD from what I remember and then moved on to be superintendent of the Ysleta school district in El Paso.
